📅 March 1, 2025 – A conversation that changed everything.

👨‍👩‍👦 Me: MamPaa (Mamma + Pappa), I’ve started a business.

😶 Them: (2 minutes of silence, mourning…) “What about your job?”

👨‍👩‍👦 Me: I left it. I’ve been working hard, taking exams, and preparing for months.

😨 Them: “Oh my God! How can you leave such a lucrative job? What will we tell our relatives? Why is everyone obsessed with startups? When will you get back the money you spent on your MBA?”

🔹 The room was filled with anxiety, doubt, and fear.

🔹 But I took a deep breath and answered their concerns.

After 14+ years of working in various companies, I realized a painful truth—most employees and organizations have the potential to thrive but don’t. Why?

💡 What’s holding people back?

❌ Fear of challenging hierarchy—HIPPO (Highest Paid Person’s Opinion) decision-making rules.

❌ Mistaking assertiveness for rudeness.

❌ Sticking to the comfort zone, resisting change.

❌ Over-reliance on theoretical knowledge, unfit for real-world challenges.

❌ Gold-plated data—manipulating reports to show "great results" instead of real impact.

❌ Lack of clarity in roles—“WHO should do WHAT?”

💡 My Solution?

✔️ Focus on objectives, not just people or processes. Underline ‘why’ and ‘why not’ with a data-driven approach

✔️ Change your approach, not the goal. Be demanding till the goal is achieved.

✔️ Upskill and start executing to break the comfort zone.

✔️ Capture real-world challenges in your work, team, and organization. Create strategies, execute, learn, and iterate. “YOU WILL WIN as your INTENT is right

✔️ Measure business outcomes based on working products, not just reports.

✔️ Align roles and responsibilities clearly—don’t be a Technical Lead when you’re a Product Owner!

🌍 As someone from a middle-class background, I understand the dilemma between stability and risk. A lucrative salary is tempting, but so is building something meaningful.

🚀 TGZed is my way of bridging the gap—helping individuals and organizations break free from mediocrity.

What do you think? Have you faced a similar middle-class dilemma when choosing between a stable job and a bold move? Let’s discuss!👇
